3. Brainstorming the layout with stakeholders
To accomplish engineer constraints, deadlines and to develop a design system over time, Ana created key mobile components thinking on user interactions, although she only presented back to stakeholders the one’s which were best aligned with business requirements and users needs gathered from the secondary research - on background Ana presented back all her screen variations to the internal design team to remove her own indecision.
Regardless of the collaborative process and voting sessions, the indecision from stakeholders persisted, between 2 similar final solutions. The stakeholders still were indecisive because they were insisting they knew the users better.
As consequence of stakeholders indecision, Ana was closing up each meeting by playing back the final requirements and following up meetings by sharing with the entire team everything agreed. It was when Ana suggested to do user testing to remove everyone’s assumptions. Luckily they agreed!
